2011 NWAACC OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS MEET INFORMATION
DATES OF COMPETITION: May 23-24, 2011 SITE: Spokane Falls CC, Spokane, Washington. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: (See enclosed time schedule) PACKETS: May be picked up at 7:00 p.m. at the coaches meeting or 9-11 a.m. Monday at the track. LANE DRAWS: Made by CCS meet director following NCAA guidelines. Preferred lanes are: 4-5-3-6-2-7-8-1 for individual events and for relays. CHECK-IN PROCEDURE: Running Events: All runners and RELAY TEAMS must check in and pick up hip numbers at the clerk’s tent no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time Field Events: All field athletes must check in at the event site no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. IMPLEMENT WEIGH-IN: All implements to be used in competition must be turned in during the scheduled weigh in times, May 22nd from 4:00pm- 6:00 pm, May 23rd from 9:00 am – 11:00 am or May 24th from 9:00am – 10:00 am located in the northwest tunnel under the stadium. For your convenience, implements may be left in the stadium. Please mark your implements for identification. Illegal implements will be secured until after the meet and may be picked up from the tunnel at the conclusion of the competition. All other implements will be kept and taken to the competition site no later than 45 minutes prior to competition. Competitors may take their own throwing implements following competition. Before departing on Tuesday, May 24th pick up all implements that do not weigh in. RULES OF COMPETITION: NCAA Track & Field Rules and NWAACC Track and Field SOP’s SCORING: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 FACILITY INFORMATION: Spokane Falls Community College has an outstanding 400-meter blue tartan track with 80-meter straight a ways, 120-meter curves and 42-inch lanes. The facility has two javelin runaways, 4 discus rings, 2 shot put rings (Red Sand), 1 hammer ring, 4 long jump/triple jump runways (New White Silica Sand), 3 pole vault runways, and 1 high jump apron.
